Pee Dee Turf Co. was founded in 2012 by Travis Whitfield, a third-generation Florence native who grew up helping his father care for the family farm. After studying turfgrass science at Clemson, Travis came home with a simple mission: bring honest, science-backed lawn care to the homeowners of the Pee Dee.
Today, our team of seven certified technicians treats more than 1,200 lawns from Darlington to Conway. We mix our own custom fertilizer blends, source our products locally whenever possible, and stand behind every treatment with a no-questions re-application guarantee.
